Techno-savvy (well...almost)

I finally have my digital camera, in hand, after an unbelieveable series of false starts searching the internet for the lowest price. I learned that the "lowest price" online sometimes means the manual is written in Japanese, no warranty is included, and the cameras are "gray market." Krysta and I were trying to decide what that meant. I concluded that it's just barely more legal than the black market, but I still envisioned dealings with shady characters out of the trunk of a car in a dark alley. As it turned out, the camera I bought locally at Office Max was $30 less than any of the internet prices. Let that be a lesson to me! Krysta is coming on Monday to show me how to post photos on my blog, so what you'll see at first will be my practice attempts. I'll try to relate them somehow to my trip. Let's see... what could I photograph? My suitcase? I'll have to dust off the cobwebs first. Tanner and Sophie? That's an idea - then when I have separation anxiety, I can get a fix by logging onto my blog.

Come back later and prepare to be amazed!
